Day 1 - Chandigarh–shimla(130 Kms,3-4 Hours)
Our comprehensive excursion begins with a pickup from your preferred transportation hub in Chandigarh as we head towards Shimla. Along the way, you will have the chance to explore a variety of captivating locations. Our journey includes visits to Chandi Mandir, a revered temple dedicated to the goddess Chandi; Pinjore Garden, a beautiful Mughal-style garden; and Timber Trail, which offers stunning views and a scenic cable car ride. We’ll also stop in Kasauli, a charming hill station, and enjoy the breathtaking sunset views at Sunset Point. Monkey Point provides panoramic vistas, while Gilbert Natural Trail offers a scenic route for nature enthusiasts. Parwanoo, known for its pleasant climate, and Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, a popular spot for spiritual solace, are also on our itinerary. Additionally, we’ll visit the Himalayan Bird Park to see a variety of bird species. Throughout the journey, we’ll have breaks for lunch and tea at well-chosen spots, allowing you to capture the stunning landscapes with photo opportunities. By evening, we’ll arrive at our hotel in Shimla, where you can check in, relax, and prepare for the upcoming adventures.
Day 2 - Shimla-kufri Local Sightseeing
Today, our journey will be filled with local sightseeing and exploration of Shimla's attractions. We will begin with a visit to Kufri, where you'll be awestruck by the towering mountain peaks and crystal-clear waterfalls. The terrain offers opportunities for some exciting adventure activities, adding a thrill to your day. From there, we'll head to Green Valley, known for its lush, green expanse that frequently serves as a backdrop for film shoots.
Next, we'll visit Kufri Zoo, the Himalayan Nature Park, Fun World, Adventure Park, and Fagu. Each destination offers its own unique charm and experiences, from wildlife sightings to exhilarating amusement park rides. After exploring these attractions, we'll seek blessings at the Kali Bari Temple, perched on a mountain peak, offering serene views and spiritual solace.
Our itinerary also includes a visit to the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, an architectural marvel and a center for research and scholarship. At noon, we'll explore the Sankat Mochan Temple, renowned for its stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the belief that nearby forests are rich with medicinal plants.
As the evening approaches, you'll have time to stroll along Shimla's Mall Road, where you can shop for affordable and authentic items. Enjoy a leisurely walk to The Ridge, Christ Church, and Gaiety Theatre Building, which are celebrated for their colonial architecture and historical significance. We’ll also visit the famous Scandal Point, known for its picturesque setting and local legends.
After a day filled with exploration and discovery, return to the hotel for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
Day 3 - Shimla-manali Via Kullu(260 Kms,7-8 Hours)
Today, we will check out from the enchanting land of Shimla and embark on our journey to Manali after a delicious breakfast. Our route to Manali will take us through the scenic beauty of Sundernagar's valleys, offering a peaceful start to our day. Along the way, we'll visit several captivating spots, including Mandi, Pandoh Dam, and the Pandoh Lake View Point, each providing stunning vistas of the Himalayan ranges.
We'll also explore Hanogi Devi Temple, Beas River Point, Aut Tunnel, Kullu, and local Buddhist monasteries. These destinations not only enhance your travel experience but also offer breathtaking views from elevated points. If you’re interested, we can include a visit to the Kullu shawl processing factories, where you can observe traditional hand-weaving techniques.
By the evening, we’ll arrive in the beautiful land of Manali. Upon reaching, you'll check into your hotel and have some free time to explore the local markets. Spend the night relaxing at your hotel, reflecting on the day's travels and preparing for more adventures ahead.
Day 4 - Manali – Solang Valley-atal Tunnel(if Opens) - Manali
Today, we will immerse ourselves in the unique and breathtaking features of nature as we set off towards Solang Valley and the Atal Tunnel. Our journey will begin with visits to several remarkable spots, including Jogini Fall, Him Valley Amusement Park, Manali Snow Point, Nehru Kund, and Darcha Waterfall.
Solang Valley, located approximately 13 kilometers from Manali, stands out with its picturesque landscapes nestled between Beas Kund and Solang Village. Here, you can engage in thrilling adventure sports like skiing, snow scooter riding, paragliding, and more, adding an exhilarating edge to your experience.
Next, we will explore the Atal Tunnel, renowned for its secure connectivity to nearby villages and its impressive engineering feat.
As the evening sets in, we will return through the shaded valleys back to Manali. You’ll spend the night at your hotel in Manali, reflecting on the day’s adventures and enjoying a restful stay.
Day 5 - Manali Sightseeing
Today, we dedicate the entire day to exploring the local attractions of Manali following a hearty breakfast. Our journey will commence with visits to revered sites such as the Buddhist Monasteries and the Hadimba Devi Temple, which holds historical significance dating back to the Mahabharata era.
Next, we’ll explore some of Manali’s enchanting spots, including Van Vihar, Manu Temple, Clubhouse, Vashisht Temple, and the Vashisth Hot Water Sulphur Springs. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch and tea breaks amidst these serene and sacred locations.
In the evening, we will return to Manali and you can spend your time exploring the vibrant Tibetan market and the bustling Mall Road. The cool weather will enhance your shopping experience, allowing you to browse through a variety of shops and authentic eateries. You might also take a stroll through the old Manali village, engaging in friendly conversations with the locals and soaking up the area’s unique charm.
The night will be spent at your hotel, reflecting on the day's discoveries and relaxing in comfort.
Day 6 - Manali – Dharamshala Via Bir-billing 08 Hours Journey (210 Kms,7-8 Hours)
Today, after enjoying a delightful breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Dharamshala, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and cultural significance.
Our exploration will begin with visits to the serene Nyingmapa Buddhist Temple and the tranquil Archhandi Raugi Waterfalls. For those seeking adventure, we will offer an opportunity for white water rafting in Babeli near Kullu, adding a thrill to your travel experience.
Continuing, we will pass through the lush tea gardens of Palampur, where you can savor a variety of authentic teas and witness the traditional tea processing techniques. Following this, we will explore Bir Billing, famous for its paragliding opportunities, allowing you to soar above the picturesque landscapes.
Our journey will also include a visit to the Lord Shiva Hindu Temple at Baijnath, where the deity is worshipped in the form of Vaidyanath, revered for his healing powers.
By evening, we will reach our destination, Dharamshala, and check into our hotel in Mcleodganj, located in the lower range of the Dhauladhar Himalayas. Mcleodganj is known for its vibrant community and is home to His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. The rooms here offer stunning views of the surrounding pine and deodar forests.
In the evening, you can explore the local market of Mcleodganj, known for its handcrafted items and exquisite design skills.
Day 7 - Dharamshala Local Sightseeing-dalhousie(130 Km,5-6 Hrs)
Today, we will delve into the captivating local sights of Dharamshala. Our day will be filled with exploring a variety of prominent attractions. We will begin with a visit to the scenic Kangra Valley and the Dharamshala Tibet Museum, followed by the picturesque Bhagsunag Falls. We will also explore the tranquil Naddi, the serene Dal Lake, and the historic St. John Church. Other significant stops include the HPCA Stadium, War Memorial, Dalai Lama Temple, and the Kangra Art Museum. Each of these locations embodies the rich cultural and natural heritage of Dharamshala.
In the afternoon, we will embark on a journey to Dalhousie. Upon arrival, you can enjoy the crisp and refreshing weather while exploring the local markets near your hotel. Spend the night relaxing and reflecting on the day's experiences at your hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 8 - Dalhousie – Khajjiar- Dalhousie
After a relaxing breakfast, we will set off to explore the enchanting Khajjiar, often referred to as the Mini Switzerland of India. This picturesque plateau, nestled within the Chamba valley, is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. Khajjiar's charm has made it a popular shooting location for Bollywood films, and its serene landscapes are home to a variety of endangered species.
You can enjoy a peaceful stroll around the small lake at the heart of Khajjiar, or engage in thrilling activities such as paragliding, trekking, and snowball fights, depending on the season.
Our journey will also take us to notable spots such as Kalatop Sanctuary, Dainkund Peak, Bakrota Hills, Panjpulla, and Khajjiar Lake, all of which offer breathtaking views and enhance the scenic drive between Dalhousie and Khajjiar.
By evening, we will return to Dalhousie, where you will spend the night at your hotel.
Day 9 - Dalhousie-amritsar (202 Kms,5-6 Hours)
Today, we’ll immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Amritsar with a half-day excursion filled with significant local sights. Our journey begins at the Wagah Border, renowned for its dramatic ceremonial closing of the gates between India and Pakistan. Witness the daily flag-lowering ceremony, a spectacle of elaborate and rapid maneuvers performed by both countries' security forces.
Next, we will visit the historic Jallianwala Bagh, a poignant memorial commemorating the tragic massacre of April 13, 1919, where British troops opened fire on unarmed Indian civilians.
Our final stop will be the Golden Temple, the most revered Sikh shrine and a symbol of spiritual and historical significance. The temple’s stunning architecture and serene atmosphere make it a profoundly moving experience.
After our tour, you will return to your hotel in Amritsar for the night.
Day 10 - Amritsar To Chandigarh Drop(230 Km,4-5 Hrs)
Today, we’ll begin our journey back to Chandigarh. Our dedicated Himachal taxi service will ensure you have a comfortable and smooth ride as we make our way to your preferred drop-off point. We will take care of all your needs to make the return trip as pleasant as possible.
