Day 1 - Transfer From Chandigarh To Narkanda(192 Kms,6-7 Hrs)
As part of our top-notch travel service, we are pleased to offer meticulously curated tour packages for Himachal Pradesh. We will start by picking you up from your chosen transportation hub in Chandigarh and embark on a scenic journey to Narkanda via Shimla.
Shimla, the former summer capital of British India and now the capital of Himachal Pradesh, will be our first major stop. As we travel, you'll be captivated by the Shivalik mountain ranges and their snow-capped splendor. We’ll explore a variety of exquisite locations including Pinjore Garden, Timber Trail, Parwanoo, Kasauli, Solan, Shimla, Mashobra, Kufri, Fagu, and Theog.
A visit to Hatu Peak will offer serene views, enhanced by the tranquil ambiance created by the shaded sunlight. We will also make sure to include lunch and tea breaks along the way to keep your energy up and enrich your travel experience.
As the evening approaches, we will reach Narkanda and check you into your hotel. You can relax and enjoy your overnight stay, savoring the day’s captivating journey through the heart of Himachal Pradesh.
Day 2 - Transfer From Narkanda To Sangla
The day promises a chilled and foggy ambiance, thanks to the mystical dew that envelops the region. Our journey will take us through the scenic routes of Kinnaur and Sangla, starting with a drive through Rampur, a picturesque gateway to the Kinnaur Valley. Here, you'll have the chance to capture some stunning photos of the landscape.
Our exploration will include the Sutlej River, the serene Nogli Beach, the cascading Happy Waterfall, and the Annin View Point. At Narkanda, the Hatu Peak will offer breathtaking views of the Central Himalayas, providing a majestic panorama. We’ll also visit a traditional wooden-carved temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, perched atop a mountain, where you can experience the local religious practices and beliefs.
As we continue our journey, we will stop at the famous Bhimakali Temple in Sarahan, renowned for its historical and spiritual significance. We will also explore Hawa Mahal, the Cricket Ground, and the oldest palace of the King of Himachal, among other notable sites. The Bhimakali Temple, known for its ancient rituals, including human sacrifices, offers a glimpse into the region’s rich cultural history.
After our immersive exploration, we will head towards Sangla Valley, celebrated for its epic and mystical views of the central Himalayas. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy a peaceful night in the enchanting setting of Sangla.
Day 3 - Local Sightseeing Of Chitkul Sangla Valley
Today’s journey will be a captivating exploration of Sangla and Kamru Village. We’ll start by immersing ourselves in the lush charm of these villages, each adorned with natural trails and picturesque landscapes.
Our first stop will be Kamru Village, where you can enjoy a leisurely walk to the historic Kamru Fort. At this fort, you’ll find a small temple dedicated to Goddess Kamaksha, offering a serene spot for worship and reflection. Kamru is known for its scenic beauty and traditional architecture, set against the backdrop of the Raldang Peaks.
Next, we will proceed to Sangla, a captivating location nestled along the right bank of the Baspa River. The village is renowned for its lush vegetation and scenic charm, situated at an elevation of 2,621 meters above sea level and 17 kilometers from Karcham. The scattered houses of Sangla, combined with the magnificent Raldang Peaks, create a stunning visual landscape.
Our exploration will continue with a visit to Sangla Meadow, the Bering Nag Temple, the Tibetan Wood Carving Centre, and a local Buddhist Monastery. We’ll also make our way to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. Chitkul, with its serene setting and traditional charm, is a highlight of our trip.
Finally, we’ll venture into the beautiful Baspa Valley. This valley is characterized by its gentle terrain, making it accessible for visitors. The village, positioned along the banks of the Baspa River, is set against the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kinner Kailash, providing a breathtaking and memorable experience.
Day 4 - Sangla To Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 Metres / 9,048 Feet (40kms/ 2-3 Hrs)
Today's adventure begins with a scenic drive to Kalpa village, which will take approximately 2-3 hours. Along the way, we’ll make a stop in Reckong Peo to explore the local markets. Here, you can browse a variety of local artifacts and experience the vibrant culture of the region.
For lunch, you can choose from several local restaurants offering a delectable range of Indian and Tibetan cuisines, giving you a taste of the area's culinary delights.
Continuing our journey, we’ll head towards Kalpa and visit the nearby Roghi village. Both locations are enveloped in dense pine forests, offering stunning views of the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Kinner Kailash. The early morning views of these peaks are particularly mesmerizing as the dewy sunlight dances over the hilltops.
Kalpa, situated at an elevation of 2,759 meters above sea level along the old Hindustan-Tibet road and 260 kilometers from Shimla, is known for its historical significance and picturesque setting. The village's heritage was further highlighted when Lord Dalhousie visited in the 19th century.
You’ll spend the night in the charming Kalpa valley, where the serene environment and stunning landscapes will provide a restful end to the day.
Day 5 - Kalpa To Tabo 3,050 Metres / 10010 Feet (150 Kms / 9-10 Hrs)
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic journey to Tabo, which will take approximately 9-10 hours. Our route will pass through Puh and Nako, offering a range of captivating landscapes and experiences.
During our journey, we’ll visit Nako Lake, a serene and religiously significant site located at a high altitude. The lake's surroundings are steeped in spiritual value, providing a reflective stop along the way. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic lunch with the locals in Nako, offering a glimpse into regional cuisine and culture.
As we continue towards Tabo, we’ll make a stop at Gue Village, known for being the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Gue Village is notable for its historical preservation, including a unique attraction—a mummy of a 600-year-old Buddhist monk. This fascinating sight adds a touch of ancient mystery to our journey.
Upon arrival in Tabo, you’ll check into your hotel and settle in for the night. Today marks the entry into Spiti Valley, often referred to as the coldest desert of the Himalayas. The region is renowned for its snowy landscapes, especially during winter, adding to the unique charm of the valley.
Day 6 - Tabo To Kaza 3,200 Metres / 10,500 Feet, (49 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Today’s itinerary will include exploring the historic Tabo Monastery, renowned as one of the oldest monasteries in the Himalayas, and a key cultural highlight of our journey. After our visit to Tabo, we’ll embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Kaza.
Upon reaching Kaza, we will explore the Dhankar Village, known for its impressive Dhankar Monastery and fort. This site offers a remarkable view of Himachal Pradesh’s rich history and architectural elegance.
During our visit, you can enjoy tea or lunch with local families, gaining insight into their way of life and traditions.
The day’s journey will conclude with check-in at our hotel in Kaza, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s experiences.
Day 7 - Sightseeing Around Kaza (5-6 Hrs)
Today’s adventure will take us to the picturesque village of Langza, starting with a hearty breakfast. Our exploration will include a visit to the Chicham Bridge, one of the highest bridges in Asia, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
You’ll have the opportunity to take a leisurely walk through the village, absorbing the authentic atmosphere. Don’t miss the chance to visit the monastery perched at the top of the village and search for fossils in the area. The charming fields and grazing yaks, set against the backdrop of the Himalayas, create a serene and picturesque environment.
If weather conditions permit, we’ll continue our journey to Hikkim and Komic villages, which are well-connected and offer unique experiences.
Next, we’ll visit Kibber village and Kee Monastery, both renowned for their high-altitude locations and striking views. Lunch will be enjoyed in Kibber village, where you can sample a variety of Tibetan dishes.
Afterward, we’ll head back to Kaza, where you can relax and unwind for the evening.
Day 8 - Kaza To Chandratal Lake(114 Kms,5-6 Hrs)
Today’s journey will take us across the breathtaking Kunzum Pass, heading towards Baltal and ultimately reaching the stunning Chandratal Lake. The drive offers panoramic views of the majestic CB Range peaks, adding a sense of grandeur to your adventure.
Chandratal Lake, known as the origin of the River Chandra, is steeped in mythological significance, including connections to the Mahabharata era. The serene beauty of the lake and its surroundings creates a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and reflection.
You’ll have the entire day to immerse yourself in the lake's spectacular scenery. Whether you choose to explore the area on foot, enjoy the peace of the surroundings, or camp at nearby spots for a more immersive experience, Chandratal offers an unforgettable experience in nature's splendor.
Day 9 - Chandertal To Keylong 2,050 Metres / 6,726 Feet ( 130 Km /07-08 Hrs)
Today will be a day filled with scenic wonders as we embark on one of the longest stretches of our journey. Our route will take us through the picturesque landscapes of Gramphu, Koksar, and Sissu, eventually reaching Keylong.
The journey will be a feast for the eyes, with the majestic landscapes of Himachal Pradesh unfolding before you. From the rugged terrain of Gramphu to the serene beauty of Sissu, each segment of the trip offers its own unique charm. Along the way, we’ll make occasional stops for snacks and tea breaks, giving you a chance to interact with locals and soak in the local flavor.
An early start will ensure that we make the most of the daylight and capture the stunning vistas of the region. Once we reach Keylong, you'll check into your accommodation for a restful night, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of this high-altitude town.
Day 10 - Keylong Local Sightseeing
Today will be dedicated to exploring the vibrant local sights of Keylong. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we'll start our day by taking in the first light of dawn, which adds a magical touch to the morning.
Our first stop will be the Kardang Monastery, renowned for its extensive collection of Buddhist literature and scriptures. This historic site offers a deep dive into the spiritual heritage of the region. Next, we’ll visit the Tribal Museum and Shashur Monastery, both of which showcase the rich traditions and customs of Buddhism.
Our journey will continue to Zero Point, a location celebrated for its breathtaking scenery and unique landscapes. This area provides ample opportunities to appreciate the natural beauty of the region and capture memorable photographs.
After a day of exploration, you’ll return to your hotel in Keylong for a restful night.
Day 11 - Keylong To Manali(130 Kms,5-6 Hrs)
Today, our journey will take you from Keylong to Manali, with a scenic drive through the Atal Tunnel and Solang Valley. The Atal Tunnel offers a remarkable engineering feat, making the journey smoother and more enjoyable.
Once we arrive in Solang Valley, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of thrilling activities such as paragliding, skiing, and snow scooter riding. The valley is also a great place to explore local markets and enjoy a walk through its beautiful, sprawling terrain.
As we continue our drive towards Manali, you'll be surrounded by lush meadows and a vibrant display of flora and fauna. By evening, we'll reach Manali and check into your hotel, where you can unwind and enjoy a restful night.
Day 12 - Manali To Chandigarh (310 Km,8-9 Hrs)
After breakfast today, our driver will take you on a scenic journey to Chandigarh. On the way, we will pass through picturesque spots including Kullu, Aut, Hanogi Devi Temple, and Pandoh Dam.
